Hilan Warshaw is a filmmaker and writer living in New York. Through his production company, Overtone Films LLC,, he has produced videos for organizations including Carnegie Hall, Dicapo Opera Theatre, and the League of American Orchestras. He recently produced and directed Wagner's Jews, a TV documentary in co-production with WDR, for broadcast on WDR and Arte in 2013.
He is also an experienced teacher, lecturer, and author of research articles on film and the arts. He has recently lectured at venues including NYU, Hofstra University, and Barnard College, where he taught a course on Romanticism and Film in autumn 2011.
